LEVEL 4 / POST 8: SUMMER HOLIDAYS

 

When summer comes I only dream about all the places I would like to visit on my free time. Unfortunately, that ideas keeps on my mind because some part of me never decide which place to go and I end up making excuses to not to go. Excuses like money, or time mostly.

 

But one of my ideas for summer holidays is travel far down south from Chile. I have never been beyond Paine, so eventually I would like to go to Punta Arenas.

A dear friend of mine comes from Punta Arenas and we always talk about to go there as a college’s trip.

 

I would like to go there to see penguins!! and eat some delicious chocolates that another friend brought me from there, it appears that those chocolates are ONLY from Punta Arenas.

 

My friend told me that Punta Arenas is a very small city that you can walk far to far on a day and it is like walking all the Red Line 1.

 

But most of walking I would like to go there and feel the freeze on January, feel fresh while at 22:00 o’clock there is still the sun on the streets. Also would like to meet all that important places that makes Punta Arenas so famous like the Cemetery, or the Museum of Magallanes, or the central park of Punta Arenas, or that huge tree.

 

But actually, my biggest dream is to see some penguins walking on the streets while it snows.
